The pilot site offers conditions for further innovation and collaboration. The EMS is suitable for large industrial sites and campuses.

The platform can counteract congestion and make optimal use of renewable-energy by optimizing energy assets in a so-called smart grid.

Green Energy Park is a joint project of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the Universitair Ziekenhuis Brussel, involving the development and operation of a campus in the Researchpark of Zellik, focusing on four domains:

  • Energy and mobility transition
  • Hospital of the future
  • Smart regions
  • Biotechnology

With this campus, Green Energy Park aims to serve as a large-scale pilot site, expertise and training center, bridging the gap between research, innovation, realization, and exploitation. More about Green Energy Park:
